On this page you will see a very small selection of personal work. Covering street photography, abstract, travel, documentary and anything else that catches my eye using various cameras including my mobile phone. More of my street photography can been seen on my socials at Vero and Instagram.
I enjoy getting out in the big wide world with the camera on my days off too. I have always had an interest in documenting graffiti and street art as I have been an active graffiti writer since 1983. It was Henry Chalfant and Martha Cooper’s ‘Subway Art’ released in 1984, that sparked my initial interest in photography.
As a Graffiti artist I had to learn how to use a camera in order to document my own artwork. From that point on Jamel Shabazz's documentary style shots of the early Hip Hop scene, Saul Leiter and Vivian Maier all had a huge impact on my style and I found myself documenting life and the people in the big city where I was born.
